The debugging support has been cleaned up and fixed. The strace recipe described on the debugging page now works.
The new config options have default values in defconfig.
The kdev_same macro in arch/um/include/2_5compat.h is fixed.
If 'jail' is specified with a kernel with CONFIG_SMP, CONFIG_HOSTFS, or CONFIG_MODULES enabled, then UML will exit with an error message.
